Photo and account privacy
How the emote workflow handles your photo, browser draft and private results.
Before you generate
Selecting a photo creates a local preview in the current page. The photo preview is held in memory and is not restored after refreshing. Selecting a photo alone does not upload it. Clicking Review price sends the selected photo to our private Cloudflare R2 storage and saves a quote; Confirm generation sends the photo and description to OpenAI for the chosen job. Custom reaction names are saved separately in this browser.
Remove a browser draft
Use Remove photo to remove the current local preview. Refreshing clears that preview. Removing a local preview does not delete an uploaded reference. Use Delete stored reference photo on your saved batch to remove its reference from our private storage. Pending or uncertain tasks must finish or be reviewed first; completed files and accounting records remain. This does not delete any copy already processed by the provider.
When you submit a task
Review the source before authorising generation. A personal reference and written description can be combined. Selecting an example excludes both personal inputs. If the system is busy, please try again later. No automatic storage-expiry period is configured for these reference uploads. OpenAI states that API data is not used for training by default unless the account opts in. Its standard abuse-monitoring retention is up to 30 days, with safety and legal exceptions. We do not promise Zero Data Retention for this service.
Your image choices
Only upload photos and characters you have permission to use. Avoid uploading confidential material. This page does not promise a fixed server retention period or a provider training exemption.
